Code of Conduct for Students

  • All students must come to school punctually and neatly dressed.
  • Be physically fit. mentally alert and morally upright.
  • Students must converse only in English on the school campus.
  • Students should reach school at the latest by 9:00 a.m. and go straight to class.
  • Students are expected to maintain order and discipline at all times during school hours and should not touch other students' belongings.
  • Students should behave in a gentle and polite manner wherever they go. They should always remember that the school is judged by their conduct.
  • As per the government guidelines, any form of bullying, use of foul language, etc., are punishable offenses, whether in or out of school. Bullying can be either direct (e.g., through physical intimidation or attack, verbal abuse damaging property), or indirect (e.g., spreading malicious rumours). Cyberbullying (sending unpleasant SMS messages, photographs, whatsapp messages, email, or using social media) against a fellow student or any member of the staff is strictly prohibited. Students found indulging in the same will be expelled.
  • It is expected from all students that they will maintain cordial relationships with each other as well as with the teaching, non-teaching, housekeeping, transportation, and security staff of the school.
  • Students are not expected to get into arguments or misbehave with their peers or staff.
  • Students are expected to carry books and notebooks in strict accordance with the timetable and refrain from bringing unnecessary materials to school.
  • Running, playing, or shouting inside the school building is never allowed, and when school is over the students should go along the corridors to the exits in due order and in silence.
  • It is forbidden to write or scribble on the walls, desks, benches, boards, etc., throw paper or spill ink in the classroom, or in any way damage the school's property.
  • Any damage done in class or on school premises will have to be repaired or replaced. It may result in expulsion from school in addition to a heavy fine; the decision of the management in this matter is final.
  • Bringing money to school without the knowledge of parents, borrowing or lending money, as well as exchanging articles, are prohibited and are against the school policy.
  • Bringing mobile phones or any electronic gadgets, expensive pens and boxes, and wearing costly smart watches is strictly forbidden; such items will be confiscated.
  • Students are not allowed to cut cakes in the classroom to celebrate their birthdays or any such events.
  • Students are forbidden to bring any objectionable materials to school, like crackers, explosives, and other dangerous materials.
  • Students should greet the teachers whenever and wherever they meet them.
  • Every time they see a teacher enter the classroom, students should stand and say good morning to them in the morning sessions and good afternoon in the afternoon sessions.
  • Students should stand and say thank you whenever a teacher leaves the classroom.
  • Students should sit only in the places allotted to them.
