Guideline to parents

Homework

  • Parents are requested to look into the diary every day and see to it that the homework assigned for the next day is completed and the lessons taught during the day are reviewed. Help your child set a regular time and place for homework. Find a place that is quiet and has good lighting.
  • Ask your child to show the finished homework each night so that you can see what your child is learning and confirm that your child is doing all the assignments. Ask your child to tell you about the school day. Listen carefully to your child’s answers and help them think of ways to solve any problems that your ward might be having in school work or in the classroom.
  • Parents are requested to ensure that their child utilises the vacation period for studies and completing homework.
  • Students should be encouraged to complete the class work and homework on their own.
  • Parents must countersign and respond to any remarks made by the school staff.
  • Medical Care

  • Children need regular medical checkups. immunization; deworming; dental care and eye checkups at regular intervals.
  • Parents must notify the school if their child is undergoing any course of medicine or is allergic to any drug.
  • There is a provision in the school to give medical aid to children whenever necessary. In an emergency, the child will be hospitalized, and parents will be informed simultaneously.  
  • General

  • Regular hours of study at home will help the children develop proper study habits. Make sure your child has stationery items such as pens, pencils, papers, a dictionary, etc.
  • Set aside time to read with your child each day. You can make reading a part of their daily routine by reading stories at bed time and keeping lots of books and magazines in the house.
  • In order to allow the school to keep parents informed about the progress of their child, parents should provide their latest mobile numbers and mailing addresses to the school administration during admission, any change should be immediately brought to the attention of the school.
  • Parents must visit the school whenever the school requires their presence while handling cases of indiscipline.
  • Please respond promptly to all school circulars and communications mentioned in the diary. Pay attention to their remarks; this is very essential.
  • Parents are requested not to give children large sums of money for their personal use.
  • Parents are asked not to send relatives, drivers, neighbours, etc. to collect their children in case of emergency during the class hours without a return letter.
  • No parent is allowed to hand over anything or meet the children during the class hours.
  • Parents are strictly forbidden not to enter the classrooms without prior permission from the school office.
  • The school is not responsible for any activities of the students outside the school hours. 
  • Fees

  • The payment of fees is the responsibility of the parent or guardian.
  • No advance notice will be given for the due date for payment of fees.
  • Fees should be paid before the 10th of every month. A delay in the remittance of fees will place an unnecessary financial burden on the management, for which a fine of Rs. 500 will be levied for that month.
  • A delay In payment of fees debars a student from sitting for any examination.
  • Parents are requested to keep safe the receipts issue to them and produce them as proof of payment if needed.
  • Try to avoid paying fees through representatives. The management is not responsible for the inconvenience caused.
  • Fees once paid will not be refunded on any account.
  • Admission fees book fees , monthly fees, and other fees for co curricular and extra curricular activities, uniform, transportation,etc fixed by the management can' t be restructured for any reasons.
  • Sleep

  • Getting enough sleep will help your child wake up on time, feel good, and be ready for a full day of learning.  
  • Healthy Diet & Exercise

  • It is important that your child eat a balanced diet with plenty of fruits and vegetables, and drink a sufficient amount of water at the right time.
  • Avoid giving junk food to your child.
  • Increase your child’s ability to do regular aerobic exercise every day.
  • Check your child’s height and weight periodically.
  • Television, Video Games and Computer Time

  • Limit the time and when possible do these activities together and look for educational programs.
  • Help your child understand that they should never give out personal information on the computer or chat with strangers online.
  • Parent Teacher Association (PTA)

    Parents need to attend PTA meeting to know about their child's progress.
  • A formal dress code is a must to attend PTA meetings.
  • Any communication (requests or complaints) by the parents should be addressed to the Principal and not to the class teachers, and all correspondence from the school to the parents is through the Principal.
